Rick Kennon was appointed judge of the 368th District Court in 2013. His docket was comprised of civil, felony criminal, family, and child protective cases. He was the highest rated judge—as surveyed by the Williamson County Bar Association—in five consecutive bi-annual surveys. Prior to his appointment, Rick was a trial attorney for 29 years.
