Okay, maybe not go-carting. But then having to wear the suit or whatever else to the office each day when you're not in Court and not at a client meeting...

- Women with Advanced Degrees More Likely To Get Divorced
Posted April 22, 2008, 5:06 am by Al Nye
The Wall Street Journal reports that Women M.B.A.s are twice as likely to divorce as are their male counterparts. To a lesser degree, the same thing applies for women with law or medical degrees. I suppose that it's not surprising that advanced degrees prompt more divorces. After all, more intense and stressful work - especially in careers that demand lots of overtime - is bound to be make things more difficult at home. So watch out women - a professional degree appears to be very hazardous to...

The Washington Post has an interesting article today about a Vermont man having suspected child pornography on his computer. The government wants the court to order the man to type his password into the computer to unlock files they suspect contain porn. The man claims that doing so would constitute self-incrimination. According to Avvo CEO Mark Britton, there is still room on the internet for Avvo's services because there still isn't an online service that provides sufficient ratings, reviews, search tools and processes that will "hold consumers' hands through the process of...
