Article 15

An article of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) providing a procedure for investigating and punishing minor misconduct by military members. The commander hears evidence from both sides and decides whether and how much punishment to impose. That decision can be appealed to the next level of command. The member is allowed access to military counsel to assist in responding to the charge.
