Interagency Education Research Initiative (IERI)

A federal partnership that includes the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Educational Research and Improvement, the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, and the National Science Foundation. IERI works to implement rigorous educational research in mathematics, reading and the sciences by supporting a program of research addressing the scaling of educational practices validated in more traditional research studies. http://www.ed.gov/offices/OERI/IERI/.
