I primarily represent clients in matrimonial and family law matters, including divorce, domestic violence proceedings, custody and parenting time disputes, support modification proceedings and enforcement of family court orders and judgments of divorce. I also handle municipal court and real estate matters, estate planning, administration and estate disputes, and other general litigation matters.

I have been a partner in a law firm since 1999 with Jeffrey Zuber. We work in all areas of civil litigation, transactional work and real estate. In addition, I am a Certified Civil Trial Attorney.

Mr. Alfano graduated from Seton Hall University Law School in 1982. He was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Michael Fernandes graduated from Seton Hall University’s School of Law. He completed his undergraduate studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Michael began his legal career as a summer intern at Newark’s Municipal Prosecutor’s Office. After finishing the internship, Michael accepted the law clerk position at the prestigious law firm of Aiello, Harris.
