I began practicing family law in 1999 and worked for a non-profit for 5 years where I successfully represented survivors of domestic violence and their children in court. In 2007 started my own family law practice to offer services for those who want to divorce using a non-adversarial model. I offer Mediation, Collaborative Practice, and other forms of settlement oriented methods of divorce that seek to find a mutually agreeable resolution for both parties.

For 11 years, Ms. Mills practiced law as a litigator. In Spring, 2007, she gave up the practice of litigation to focus exclusively on mediation. Today, Ms. Mills is a mediator focusing on elder mediation and civil mediation. Most of her practice is in Contra Costa County, but she will travel throughout the Bay Area for mediation.
