My name is Matthew Dearfield and I am a bankruptcy attorney practicing at my family law firm, Dearfield Law Firm, LLC. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2013. I then made my way to the University of Dayton School of Law where I received my Juris Doctorate degree in January of 2018. I have 30+ years of experience representing individuals in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. My goal is to provide each client with quality legal services in a personal manner, and I work with each client to develop the best possible resolution for their individual needs.

My practice is predominantly consumer bankruptcy and tax law. After growing up in the Pittsburgh area, I attended Penn State, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. I then attended Capital University Law School and worked with William J. Clark & Associates for 10 years. Since that time, I have practiced as a sole practitioner, currently located in Gahanna.
