Irene graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1980 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1981.

Irene is also admitted to the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio; the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio; the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit; the U. S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania; and the U.S. Tax Court.

Irene is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Trumbull County Bar Association, and NOSSCR (National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives).

Upon graduation from law school Attorney Robert Safos returned to Warren Ohio and set up his own law practice. He was fortunate to have the tutelage of then Bankruptcy Magistrate, Joseph T. Molitoris. When the bankruptcy laws were overhauled in 1978 Attorney Safos was appointed to be one of four on the permanent panel of Trustee in the bankruptcy court located in Youngstown Ohio.
