I have been an attorney since 2008. I began my practice in Wisconsin where I focused in the areas of criminal defense, DUI, family law, and general civil litigation.

I have lived in North Dakota since 2016 where I was a public defender for two years and a prosecutor for 1 year. Currently, I practice in the areas of criminal defense, DUI, family law, estate planning, real estate and bankruptcy.

It is my mission to provide excellent service to my clients through giving accurate and honest legal advice and representation in any matter, regardless of complexity of case.

Prior to moving to Dickinson in 2013, Peter (“Pete”) Morowski practiced law at a boutique plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Houston, Texas. During this time, he gained vast amounts of experience by handling all aspects of a litigate case from the filing of the lawsuit through settlement or trial.

Since moving to Dickinson, Pete has worked on a variety of matters in a various of areas of the law, including plaintiff’s personal injury, criminal defense, insurance defense, estate planning, probates, contracts, oil and gas, land disputes, adverse possession, and general litigation. Attorney James Teigland is a Moorhead native who graduated from Park Christian High School of Moorhead in 2006 and attended Minnesota State University Moorhead where he studied Economics until he graduated in 2010. Mr. Teigland attended William Mitchell College of Law from 2010-2013, and is licensed to practice in Minnesota and North Dakota.
