Mr. Bailey was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2017, receiving his JD from Georgia State University College of Law that same year.

Prior to law school, Kent worked for a publicly held consulting corporation as well as a privately held petroleum retailer here in Atlanta. He brings his background in corporate negotiation and financial analytics to Thrift McLemore where he applies these skills to the practice of law. Mr. Bailey received his BBA in Economics from The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.

Jonathan Marcus Woods is a board certified Attorney with years of experience in trial and appellate law. He is a native of New York City, graduated from Princeton University and the Florida State University College of Law. Before entering law school, Jon enjoyed a successful first career as a local government official in South Florida and then as a political consultant. After law school, Jon served as an electronic discovery consultant to Fortune 500 companies. Having earned a Masters degree in Heritage Preservation, I focus my practice in historic preservation and cultural resource matters when feasible. I also practice in estate planning and administration (including both contested and non-contested cases). When possible, I try to merge the practice areas focusing on estates with a historic resource component (rare books, artwork, artifacts, historic property).

28 years experience in full range of civil litigation; 70% Plaintiff and 30% defense. Originally PI, consumer law, divorce and real estae law; Currently representing business and partnership owners and real estate investors. Handling full range of real estate matters including title disputes, partnership dissolutions, negotiations, land trusts, construction issues and litigation and legal malpractice as well as general business law and PI cases.

Over thirty years of experience in nearly all facets of construction and business law. Areas of expertise include dispute resolution, business organization, consulting and management, real estate syndication and development, construction management and telecommunications.
