Kris D. W. Ferrell has been practicing in family and juvenile since 2002. She represents clients in family law, juvenile, civil and criminal law. She is a child and family investigator and a Child Welfare Law Specialist. She is an engaging and entertaining speaker and trainer. She also provides mentorship and coaching for clients.

Lindsay spent the first ten years of her career litigating complex criminal cases in state and federal court, first as a trial attorney with the Denver office of the Colorado State Public Defender and later as a partner with two top law firms in Denver. During that time, she tried more than 50 cases to verdict and was named one of Colorado’s “Rising Star” Super Lawyers from 2016-2021. Lindsay's practice focuses on Title IX defense, student and faculty discipline, special education matters, and federal criminal defense.

Larry started his law career in 1983 as a deputy district attorney in the Boulder County (Colorado) District Attorney’s Office leaving in 1990 to found Mertes Law, a law practice based in Boulder, Colorado that remains to this day dedicated to providing a strong, creative and competent defense to those accused of a criminal offense, fighting to save driving privileges and defend those charged with DUI and Domestic Violence crimes and as an advocate for anyone whose life has been disrupted by personal injury and pain or whose loved one has been taken by the negligent operation of a truck...
