Mr. Asselta focuses his practice to the areas of education law and appeals. Mr. Asselta began his career working for a defense firm that exclusively dealt with criminal appeals and post-conviction criminal litigation. Mr. Asselta has prepared briefs and motions concerning major drug trafficking crimes, criminal conspiracy and financial crimes, to name a few. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. Connors attended the University of North Florida, where he played baseball and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994. Mr. Connors attended Loyola University New Orleans School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1999. After graduation, Mr. Connors stayed in Louisiana and served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jacques A. Sanborn of the 34th Judicial District Court, Division “E”, Parish of St. Bernard, State of Louisiana. Mr. Callison earned his J.D. at Columbia University School of Law in 1988 where he was a member of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review. He earned his B.A., with highest honors, from the University of Tennessee in 1985. Mr. Callison is a life member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and the Federal Trial Bar. Mr. Callison is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating awarded by that organization.
