Margaret Koberoski was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 1996 and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota in 2005. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Hamline University School of Law. While in Law School, Margaret served as Managing Editor the Hamline Law Review. She is also a graduate of the University of Minnesota where she obtained a B.A. in Spanish and Political Science. Margaret is currently a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and Minnesota Women Lawyers (MNL).

I love what I do! My entire professional career has focused on death, dying, and preplanning. It is not as macabre as you may think! I find peace in helping my clients and their family prepare for the "inevitable"? (death and taxes), and make life's transitions easier.

I help clients navigate estate planning, as they focus on asset growth, to long-term care planning, where the focus shifts to asset preservation and care. Hannah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Following her graduation, Hannah went on to complete her Juris Doctorate at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN. During law school, Hannah had extensive courtroom experience as a student certified attorney with the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office. Hannah also had the opportunity to study arbitration and comparative law at BPP University in London, England.

I was a late bloomer. I didn't even start on my undergraduate degree until I was 35. Perseverence pays off, however. I made it all the way through undergrad and law school and have been practicing since 1994. Much of that time was spent as a solo practitioner, but I have a colleague who is an equal owner with me. My practice is limited to estate planning (wills and trusts), probate, guardianship/conservatorships and all aspects of family law (divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, property division, etc.)

My ex-husband died suddenly, leaving our young children and a messy estate that took 7 years to resolve. My siblings and I worked together to support my parents in my Dad's dementia. My new husband and I crafted a plan to protect each other and all of our children in our blended family when we pass away.
