Andrew (A.J.) Thomas graduated from West Virginia University in 2011 with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Sociology and Philosophy. He received his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 2014, where he graduated in the top one-third of his class. While in law school, A.J. served as a student-attorney for the WVU College of Law Clinical Law Program and received a CALI award for outstanding achievement in the study of Elder Law. Buddy graduated Order of the Coif upon earning his Juris Doctor degree from the West Virginia University College of Law as a member of the Class of 2004, for which he was also elected Class President. During his time there, he served as a member of the Republican Law Caucus and the West Virginia University Law Review. Buddy was awarded prestigious CALI Awards in both Constitutional Law and Trial Advocacy.
