Dane Carey is a partner at Kuhn Rogers and has been practicing in Traverse City since 2015. He primarily represents businesses and individuals in litigation and legal disputes. Dane’s practice focuses on general civil litigation, commercial litigation, property litigation, shareholder and employment disputes, and real estate and water (riparian) law. He has significant experience in matters involving businesses, property, civil rights claims, and other complex civil matters. Although based in Traverse City, he represents clients throughout Michigan and in state and federal courts, as well as in the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court.

I was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the day of my Father's graduation from the University of Michigan Law School. I graduated from Fenton High School as a Member of the National Honor Society. I served my classmates as their Vice President of Student Council, Sophmore Class President, Vice President of Senior High Student Council, Law Day Judge. In addition I played and lettered in tennis my Sophmore, Junior and Senior years. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Humanities Pre-Law from Michigan State University.
