Lawrence Mort Biography. Recently finished a DWI which was 30 year old client's 3rd DWI arrest in which he left the scene of accident [striking a school bus] and was driving without a license. He received 8 weekends in Monroe County Jail plus probation for five years plus about 1570 in fines/charges. I objected to requested up to $3000 in restitution, saying I bought a VW Passat for this much and how could a small car inflict $3000 in damage upon a school bus.
