Thomas M. Greene has practiced complex civil litigation for more than thirty years. Since first representing a False Claims Act whistleblower in 1992, Mr. Greene has specialized in representing qui tam whistleblowers. Although his first False Claims Act case involved the defense industry, Mr. Greene has devoted the majority of his time to health care and pharmaceutical cases.

Since 2010, I have represented whistleblowers in federal and state False Claims Act cases, including a ten-year effort that led to the largest ever award in the history of the False Claims Act, $264 million in 2022. Among the types of cases I have handled: * customs duties cases, in which obligations to pay duties have been avoided or reduced due to false statements about cost of goods, tariff codes, or country of origin * health care cases, including Medicare or Medicaid claims for medically unnecessary goods or services, and false billing * pharmaceutical cases, including claims caused by improper off-label promotion of drugs,...

Tucker D. Greene joined Greene LLP as an associate in 2013. He specializes in the firm’s False Claims Act practice, including health care and public utilities cases. Mr. Greene’s experience as a trial attorney is of particular use to the firm, as it frequently pursues declined False Claims Act cases brought by whistleblowers.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Greene worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office.
