During her career, she has held multiple senior roles, including 8 years at the New York State Office of Attorney General, where she served as Chief of Criminal Investigations in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. During law school, I was a student attorney at Hiscock Legal Aid in Syracuse doing unemployment insurance, family law and divorce cases, worked at legal aid on Social Security overpayment matters and at the Oneida County Public Defender's office. I was able to take the bar exam early and began working as an Assistant Public Defender in Chenango County and was quickly promoted to First Assistant Public Defender.
