In 24 years of appellate practice, I have succeeded in securing reversal of the trial court's decision in 45.0% of all direct appeal cases, compared to the national federal appellate court average of 7.3% for all cases in 2014.

Our firm practices in the area of False Claims Act qui tam whistleblower, complex employment class action and ERISA litigation, federal appellate work, and union-side labor law. We have offices in Ohio, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C. Our attorneys are admitted to the courts in over a dozen states throughout the United States. The attorneys in our firm have represented dozens of False Claims Act qui tam whistleblowers, including a whistleblower in the recent $ 2.3 billion Pfizer pharmaceutical fraud settlement.

I have been a practicing attorney focusing on all types of injury cases (automobile accidents, products liability, workers' compensation, etc.), wills and estates, probate, social security disability and domestic relations cases for over 30 years. I have extensive experience in all of those areas and have an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell for over 17 years--the highest rating an attorney may have. I am a member of the American and Ohio Associations for Justice as well as a member of local bar associations.

I have over 20 years experience in public safety. I am a full-time Fire Captain and part-time general practice attorney.
