Hello. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I am a graduate of Thomas Edison High School (c/o 1995), UT at Austin (c/o 1999), and TTU Law (c/o 2002). I became a licensed attorney on May 5, 2003.

She also served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for 8 years and won national awards from the U.S. Department of Justice for her work to improve cities and reduce violent gun crime.
