Mr. Bittle is a cum laude graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, where he spent two years on the William Mitchell Law Review and took honors in Contracts, Insurance Law, and Labor Law. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota. Joe is an experienced trial attorney with an emphasis on personal injury, insurance defense, estate/probate litigation, real estate litigation and municipal law. He also frequently serves as special counsel to governmental entities with respect to various civil litigation matters, such as eminent domain proceedings and governmental liability claims. He began his career as a public defender before transitioning into insurance defense work where he gained valuable experience and knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance practices.
