Mr. Wright was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He attended Middle Tennessee State University (B.S., summa cum laude, 1977); the University of Tennessee (J.D., 1980). Born and raised in Knoxville, Brent graduated from both the Memphis University School and the University of Memphis. He then went on to attend the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis, where he excelled as a Herff Scholar and served on law review.
