After receiving his Bachelor's in English and Political Science, Christopher moved on to complete his legal education at Thomas M. cooley Law School, and was admitted to the bar in 2011. From 1994 to 2002, he was a policy advisor to former Governor John Engler and served as acting Director of the Michigan Office of Drug Control Policy.
