I am a proud member of the Texas Bar Association and actively participate in the family law section of the Texas Bar and the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas. Colby Vokey is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving on active duty from 1988-2008. After graduating from Texas A&M University and being commissioned as a Marine Officer, he served as an artillery officer for several years, including a combat tour during Operation Desert Storm, where he earned the Combat Action RIbbon. An Air Force Veteran with four tours in the Middle East, Joe Robles Jr graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's in New Media Design in 2013 and a Juris Doctor's degree from Texas A&M University in 2018. In his 18 years of legal experience, Attorney J. Cameron Cowan spent almost 15 years a prosecutor for the State of Texas. He then opened his open private practice, handling criminal defense, military law, family law, and estate planning. Attorney Cowan also spent 8 years in US Army JAG Corps as a reservist. In that time, he was able to offer legal services to thousands of service members, even those going overseas. Mr. Karns was formerly a Captain on active duty in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps where he received the Parachutist Badge, the U.S. Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon. Subsequent to active duty, he continued his service in the U.S. Army Reserves where he was promoted to Major and served as a Senior Defense Counsel and received an Army Commendation Medal. Mr. Karns completed his reserve duty in 2005.
