Mr. Schwanwede worked for the Bergen County and Camden County Prosecutor’s Offices for a total of 32 years. Throughout the 30 years spent at the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, he served at various times as Chief of the Special Investigations Section, Chief of the Sex Crimes Section, Chief of the Bergen County Narcotics Task Force, Chief of Trial and as First Assistant Prosecutor for five years. He has tried virtually every type of case covered by the code of Criminal Justice, including narcotics conspiracies, adult and child sex offenses, white collar fraud, kidnaping, arson and murder.

As a trial lawyer, Marc A. Chase handles civil litigation in numerous areas of the law, with a concentration in accident, personal injury, divorce, custody, alimony, child support and related litigation. Marc followed in his brother’s and father’s footsteps, joining the firm in 1978 and working as a law clerk, then entering law school. Following graduation and admission to the bar in 1982, he became an associate, handling a full caseload and trial work.
