Since I received my license to practice law in 1989, I have represented the State as an Assistant District Attorney in Cameron County, Texas and been elected to three terms as the first Judge of County Court at Law No. 3. I represent clients in criminal, civil, family law and probate cases in Cameron, Hidalgo and Willacy County. I have been a mediator since 2009 and am recently qualified to mediate family law matters. Born in Dallas, Texas November 10, 1939. Graduated from North Texas State University (now University of North Texas) in Denton, Texas in 1967 with a BBA in Business Management. Graduated from Baylor Law School in 1967 with a Juris Doctor degree.

Practiced law in Dallas, Texas as an Assistant District Attorney in the Dallas District Attorneys Office from 1967 to 1969. Open private practice in 1969 in Dallas, Texas, specializing in criminal defense, family law, and probate.

Married, two grown sons, and two grandchildren, living in the DFW area. Currently reside in Harlingen, Texas for the past 35 years.

Sara graduated from Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2010. She went on to be the first intern at the prestigious Trial Lawyer's College in Wyoming which produces some of the most skilled trial attorneys in the country.

She understands the needs of injury victims as she spent the last nine years practicing criminal law in Brownsville. She represented hundreds of clients over that time.

As a result of her experience, Sara has been a chosen speaker for events for Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, Lubbock Area Bar Association, Cameron County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas.
