Irene graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1980 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1981.

Irene is also admitted to the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio; the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio; the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit; the U. S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania; and the U.S. Tax Court.

Irene is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Trumbull County Bar Association, and NOSSCR (National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives).

Growing up in Youngstown and being the son of a steelworker, I knew early on in law school that I wanted to practice in an area of law that affected people in their daily lives. I decided that I wanted to be an attorney after working in the steel mill for several years and saw how people were treated in the workplace. I felt they needed representation as no one was standing up for them and the employer always had representation. I decided to be an attorney to help people and to win claims at all cost.
