Richard leads Gallo Vitucci Klar LLP's maritime and transportation law group. Prior to coming to the firm, Richard served in the U.S. Coast Guard for over 20 years where he handled multiple marine casualty investigations, including, licensing actions involving merchant mariners and retired from active duty with the rank of Lieutenant Commander (LCDR). Tim handles motor vehicle accidents, slip & fall accidents, medical malpractice, boating accidents, cruise ship accidents, and complex hull/machinery/cargo cases. Tim represents commercial mariners, recreational boaters, cruise ship passengers, and other injury plaintiffs. As a former shipboard officer, he understands the importance of the Jones Act and other maritime laws. I have been a solo practitioner since 1999, after having worked for two historic maritime law firms in New York City. My practice now consists almost exclusively of federal litigation, including maritime and constitutional law.
