I grew up in the Birmingham area and received my law degree from Miles School of Law. I am a member of the Alabama State Bar, Birmingham Bar Association, Bessemer Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and am licensed to practice in the State of Alabama and the United District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. I work mainly out of the firm's Bessemer, Tuscaloosa, and Birmingham offices.

Anne Guthrie focuses her practice on helping families and advocating for children. Her practice includes bankruptcy, probate law, divorce, adoption, custody modification, and drafting wills and other probate documents. Anne has helped many families located outside of Alabama with Alabama probate related issues. Anne is also a registered mediator with the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution for civil and domestic relations mediation. I am a family man with a beautiful wife and two wonderful children. When I am not working, I enjoy being a "softball dad" for my girls. This gives us a wonderful opportunity to spend time together as a family. Every once in a while, my wife and I get time together to go out to eat or watch a movie.

A native of Tuscaloosa, Elizabeth literally grew up two blocks from Bryant Denny Stadium, playing hide and seek with her friends thorough out campus and attending all of the sports and cultural events that the University of Alabama has to offer.
