I have been practicing as a Columbus, Ohio Bankruptcy Attorney for over 28 years from the same location. I'm a lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio. I attended Eastmoor High School, The Ohio State University, and obtained my law degree from Capital University. I take pride in meeting all of my clients personally. In 2007, I tried one the biggest cases in the country pertaining to bankruptcy. I tried it for free because I believed it was the right thing to do and now it is Federal Bankruptcy case law. I fight hard for my clients.

I am the chief integral element of the Bergman and Yiangou Law firm. I received my BA from the Ohio State University in 1966, and my JD (Juris Doctor) from Capital University Law School in 1970. I spent a year as an Assistant Attorney General in the Workers' Compensation Section. I have been in private practice since 1972. I am a member of the Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations, and a Trustee for the CEC (Consumer Education Coalition).

Experience
Prior to opening his law office in Pickerington, David A. Bhaerman served as an Assistant Attorney General appointed by then-Ohio Attorney General Jim Petro. There he represented the state’s public two-year colleges in transactional matters and as general counsel, advising clients on a wide variety of legal and legislative matters, and represented the Ohio Department of Education in teacher-licensure hearings.
