Neubia founded The Law Office of Neubia L. Harris, PLLC in 2018. Neubia has extensive education law and civil litigation experience. Prior to founding the firm, Neubia worked as an Associate Attorney with boutique law firm where she practiced education law exclusively, and a Staff Attorney at Legal Aid of North Carolina where her practice spanned a variety of civil matters. Neubia launched her law practice to marry her passions of practicing law and being an entrepreneur.

I have practiced law since 2004, defending clients who were accused of everything from shoplifting to murder, trying more than 25 cases to a jury verdict. I have also represented clients in civil rights cases, personal injury, real estate, debt collection, divorce/custody, adult and child protective services, administrative adjudications, and appeals. My experience has given me a broad range of legal knowledge that I can readily adapt to new cases. I live in and love the mountains in the outskirts of Waynesville, Haywood County.

Burton received his bachelor's degree from Harvard in 1971 and a Masters in Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina in 1974. After working as an administrator and consultant for rural health clinics in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee, he received his law degree, with high honors, from UNC in 1980. Most of the time I represented employees, but I occasionally represented employers. Prior to focusing on employment and personal injury, I had a more general civil practice.
