I have been living in Colorado for more than 30 years after emigrating from St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1980, and I still speak Russian fluently. I graduated from the Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1997. While there, I majored in journalism and minored in political science. I attended law school immediately after college, and I graduated from the University of Denver in 2000. Because I have a passion for education and consider myself a lifelong learner, I also picked up a Master’s of Humanities, with an emphasis in philosophy, from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2010. ...

Lindsay spent the first ten years of her career litigating complex criminal cases in state and federal court, first as a trial attorney with the Denver office of the Colorado State Public Defender and later as a partner with two top law firms in Denver. During that time, she tried more than 50 cases to verdict and was named one of Colorado’s “Rising Star” Super Lawyers from 2016-2021. Lindsay's practice focuses on Title IX defense, student and faculty discipline, special education matters, and federal criminal defense.

Kris D. W. Ferrell has been practicing in family and juvenile since 2002. She represents clients in family law, juvenile, civil and criminal law. She is a child and family investigator and a Child Welfare Law Specialist. She is an engaging and entertaining speaker and trainer. She also provides mentorship and coaching for clients.
