Attorney Blake Welch is licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Blake attended the University of South Carolina. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he worked at various publishing companies before launching an international chemical company. Blake then went on to graduate with his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law. In 2022, he was recognized as a top trial attorney by the National Trial Lawyers Association. As Counsel for Revenue Litigation with the South Carolina Department of Revenue, Lyn represented the Department in corporate and individual income tax, sales and use tax, and constitutional nexus matters. Lyn drafted final agency determinations, represented the Department in contested case hearings before the South Carolina Administrative Law Court, and handled related appeals before South Carolina’s Circuit Courts, Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
