I am a family law and bankruptcy attorney. Before being licensed to practice law in Florida, I was in the legal industry for nearly twenty years. I bring experience, knowledge, and determination to my practice. I fight for my clients and ensure they understand the entire process from start to finish. I understand the legal system can be complex and frustrating and that is why I am devoted to helping my clients navigate through the system.

Wendy began practicing law in 1997 and opened the lawfirm of Cohen & DePaul, PA along with her business partner in 2004. Wendy has also been a Certified Public Accountant since 1995. Her main areas of practice at Bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, elder law, and family law. Wendy also currently serves on the board of directors of Bay Area Legal Services and on the Hillsborough County Animal Advisory Committee

Paul chairs the firm’s complex litigation division. The firm’s complex litigation division is well-known for skillfully handling the most complicated, heavily-litigated commercial matters and what are sometimes referred to as “bet-the-company” cases. James Elliott is a Tampa, Florida native. Mr. Elliott attended Jesuit High School and graduated in 1996. He then attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and graduated with honors in 2000.
