I have more than 30 years experience as a private practice attorney. Prior to focusing on representation of debtors in bankruptcy I represented creditors for several years providing me with a different perspective that sets me apart from other bankruptcy attorneys. My other main areas of practice are real estate, foreclosure defense, probate and small business law.

Rose A. Blondin Shea graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emmanuel College in 2011 and Cum Laude from Suffolk University Law School in 2014. She was born and raised in Litchfield, Connecticut, graduating from Saint Paul Catholic High School in 2007.

Her primary areas of practice include Nonprofit law, Small business law, LLC Formation & Dissolution, Bankruptcy, Estate planning and Real estate law. Rose is also a member of the Connecticut and Litchfield County Bar Association. She is married to Torrington Optometrist Dr. Michael Shea of Blondin Shea Eye Care LLC.

In 2005, Mr. Melchionne was appointed State Chair for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA). He acted as a liaison between the national organization and Connecticut attorneys who are members of the Association. He has fostered education of attorneys in the bankruptcy field and increased access of the public to bankruptcy relief in light of the law passed in 2005. He held that position until 2014.
