He then moved to Colorado where he worked as an associate at Gersh & Danielson and then as a founding partner at Gersh & Helfrich, LLP. James moved to Allen Vellone Wolf Helfrich & Factor P.C. in November 2010, where he continues to focus in commercial and securities litigation. James has helped hundreds of clients obtain justice in cases involving securities fraud, breaches of contract and fiduciary duty, bankruptcy, civil rights and environmental violations, illegal business practices, Ponzi schemes, real estate disputes, and bodily injuries. My environmental law experience includes a decade as an attorney for the Environmental Protection Agency, rising to Regional Counsel Section Chief; a decade as an Equity Partner for a 200 attorney litigation firm, rising to Chair of their Environmental Practice Group; and a decade running my own Environmental Law Boutique Firm in Chicago before opening my Firm's second office in Denver Colorado in 2011.

I earned a Juris Doctorate, a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign.
