Colleen is a Florida native who grew up in Gainesville before moving to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. After graduating with a double major, Colleen moved to the St. Petersburg area to attend Stetson University College of Law. After she was admitted to the Florida Bar, Colleen joined a small family law firm where she gained extensive experience handling cases involving divorce, paternity, custody, and adoption. Colleen then shifted her practice to estate planning after seeing first-hand the complications that arise within families.

Engage mainly with multinational business entities in and out of Puerto Rico, representing these companies with business, corporate law, litigation, tax exemption, however not limited thereto. Involved with matters and issues concerning industrial promotion under the scope of the Economic Development Administration's programs and related governmental agencies and entities.
