Dan is a lifelong resident of Minnesota. Born in St. Paul, Dan spent many of his formative years growing up there before moving to White Bear Lake. After graduating from White Bear Lake, Dan spent four glorious years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a degree in two majors. I was a late bloomer. I didn't even start on my undergraduate degree until I was 35. Perseverence pays off, however. I made it all the way through undergrad and law school and have been practicing since 1994. Much of that time was spent as a solo practitioner, but I have a colleague who is an equal owner with me. My practice is limited to estate planning (wills and trusts), probate, guardianship/conservatorships and all aspects of family law (divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, property division, etc.)

Mr. Hitchcock’s practice is focused on estate planning, contract law and business. He is an acclaimed lecturer on complex estate planning topics and an occasional contributor to the bimonthly newsletter of the Minnesota Podiatric Medical Association. Mr. Hitchcock has two children and resides in Dellwood, Minnesota, with his wife.
