Originally from Toronto, Canada, Kristen has a Honors B.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto, and a J.D. and Certificate in Criminal Advocacy from Charlotte School of Law. Kristen has a passion for details and trivia - she brings that same passion to each client she zealously represents. Her focus is on DWI, criminal defense and traffic law.

Ron was raised in Gaston County and currently lives in Belmont, NC with his wife and two children.

He founded The Law Offices of Ronald J. Shook in 2011, and he advises clients on all aspects of criminal defense, DWI/DUI, traffic law, immigration, personal injury, and firearms law. He practices in Gaston and Mecklenburg Counties.

Lance is a graduate of the Charlotte School of Law. He spent 12 years as a Deputy Sheriff in Harvey, LA. During his tenure there he worked in the Street Crimes Division as well as being a Team Leader of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team. During law school, Lance interned at the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office. Lance is certified in DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (24 hour training) and Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (16 hour training) by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
