Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 1990 (IDEA)

Public Law 101-476. Amended the Education for All Handicapped Children Act (EAHCA), Public Law 94-142. The Act ensures that all children with disabilities have available to them a free appropriate public education that includes special education and related services designed to meet their unique needs.
